Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to the Shoesepic website and purchases made through it. By using the website or placing an order, customers confirm that they have read and accepted these terms.

These terms provide information about website use, products, orders, payments, delivery, cancellations, returns, liability, and the relationship between Shoesepic and its customers.

Nothing in these Terms of Service limits or excludes any statutory rights available to customers under applicable United Kingdom consumer law.

1. About Shoesepic

Shoesepic is a United Kingdom-based online shoe retailer. The website allows customers to browse and purchase shoes available for delivery within supported areas of the United Kingdom.

Business Address: Office 2980, 182–184 High St N, London E6 2JA, United Kingdom
Email: support@shoesepic.com

The business address should not be used for product returns unless Shoesepic customer support provides written confirmation.

2. Eligibility to Use the Website

Customers placing an order must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.

  • Provide accurate and complete contact, billing, and delivery information.

  • Use a payment method that they are authorised to use.

Individuals under the age of 18 may browse the website but must have a parent or legal guardian place an order on their behalf.

3. Use of the Website

The Shoesepic website is provided for lawful, personal, and non-commercial use.

Users must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, customer accounts, or connected systems.

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technology.

  • Interfere with the website’s security, operation, or availability.

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit website content without permission.

  • Use automated systems to collect website or customer information without authorisation.

  • Provide false identity, payment, billing, or delivery information.

Shoesepic may restrict or suspend access where misuse, fraud, or a security risk is reasonably suspected.

4. Customer Accounts

Customers may be able to create an account to view orders and manage their information.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and current account information.

  • Keeping login credentials confidential.

  • Preventing unauthorised access to their accounts.

  • Informing Shoesepic promptly if unauthorised activity is suspected.

Shoesepic is not responsible for losses caused solely by a customer’s failure to protect their login details, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

5. Product Information

Shoesepic aims to present accurate information about each product, including:

  • Shoe style and design.

  • Available colours and sizes.

  • Materials and construction.

  • Product photographs.

  • Care and usage information.

  • Price and availability.

Actual colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting, photography, and reasonable manufacturing variations. Such differences do not affect customers’ rights where a product is materially different from its description.

Measurements and size guides are provided for guidance. Customers should review the available size information before ordering.

6. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. Adding a product to the shopping basket does not reserve it.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, Shoesepic will contact the customer and may:

  • Offer a suitable alternative.

  • Allow the customer to wait for restocking.

  • Cancel the unavailable item.

  • Issue a full refund for the unavailable item.

Customers will not be required to accept an alternative product.

7. Order Placement and Acceptance

After an order is submitted, Shoesepic will normally send an acknowledgement email. This email confirms receipt of the order but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.

A contract is normally formed when Shoesepic sends a dispatch confirmation or otherwise confirms that the order has been accepted.

Shoesepic may decline or cancel an order before dispatch for legitimate reasons, including:

  • Payment authorisation failure.

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorised activity.

  • Product unavailability.

  • Incorrect pricing or product information.

  • An incomplete or unsupported delivery address.

  • Failure to satisfy order verification requirements.

If payment has already been collected for an order that cannot be accepted or fulfilled, Shoesepic will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

8. Order Changes and Cancellations

Customers should contact Shoesepic as soon as possible if they wish to change or cancel an order.

Changes may be possible before dispatch but cannot be guaranteed once processing has started. After dispatch, changes to the product, shoe size, colour, quantity, or delivery address are not normally possible.

Customers retain any cancellation rights available under applicable UK consumer law and the Shoesepic Return and Refund Policy.

9. Prices and Currency

All prices displayed on the Shoesepic website are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Prices include applicable taxes where required. Delivery charges and any other mandatory costs will be displayed before the customer confirms the order.

Shoesepic may update product prices at any time. Price changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted, except where an obvious pricing error has occurred and applicable law permits correction.

If a clear pricing error is identified, Shoesepic will contact the customer and provide the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.

10. Payment Methods

Available payment methods may include:

  • Mastercard.

  • Visa.

  • American Express.

  • UnionPay.

  • Apple Pay.

  • Google Pay.

The payment methods available for a particular order will be displayed during checkout.

Customers must provide accurate billing information and confirm that they are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Shoesepic does not store or have access to complete payment card details.

11. Payment Authorisation

Payment may be authorised or collected when an order is placed.

An order will not be dispatched until payment has been successfully authorised and any necessary security checks have been completed.

If a payment is declined, reversed, or identified as potentially unauthorised, the order may be delayed or cancelled.

12. Shipping Coverage and Cost

Shoesepic currently delivers to eligible addresses within the United Kingdom.

A flat standard shipping charge of £3 GBP per order applies unless another amount or delivery promotion is clearly displayed during checkout.

Orders using addresses outside the supported delivery area may be cancelled and refunded.

13. Processing and Delivery Times

The standard estimated order timeline is:

  • Processing time: 1–3 business days.

  • Transit time: 3–4 business days.

  • Total estimated delivery time: 4–7 business days.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding applicable UK public holidays.

Orders placed before 5:00 PM (GMT+00:00) may begin processing on the same business day. Orders placed after the cut-off time, during weekends, or on public holidays will normally begin processing on the following business day.

Delivery dates are estimates unless Shoesepic has expressly agreed to a specific guaranteed delivery date.

14. Delivery and Tracking

Customers will normally receive tracking information after their order has been dispatched.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If an address error is identified before dispatch, the customer should contact Shoesepic immediately.

Shoesepic remains responsible for the goods until they come into the physical possession of the customer or a person nominated by the customer, except where the customer independently appoints a carrier that was not offered by Shoesepic.

Carrier delays or events outside Shoesepic’s reasonable control may affect estimated delivery dates. Shoesepic will provide reasonable assistance and will not exclude responsibilities that apply under UK consumer law.

15. Statutory Cancellation Rights

For most products purchased online, customers may cancel without providing a reason by notifying Shoesepic within 14 calendar days beginning the day after delivery.

After notifying Shoesepic, the customer normally has a further 14 calendar days to return the product.

Customers may inspect and try on shoes in the same way they reasonably could in a physical shop. A reasonable deduction may be made where the value of the product has been reduced through handling beyond what was necessary to inspect its fit, features, and condition.

16. Voluntary 90-Day Return Policy

In addition to statutory rights, Shoesepic offers a voluntary 90-day return period for eligible products.

Under this voluntary policy, shoes should be:

  • Unworn outdoors.

  • Clean and undamaged.

  • Returned with their original tags, accessories, shoe box, and packaging.

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase.

Returns are accepted for defective and non-defective products. No restocking fee is charged.

For non-defective or change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Where Shoesepic sends a faulty, damaged, misdescribed, or incorrect product, Shoesepic will cover or reimburse the reasonable return cost.

Full conditions are provided in the Return and Refund Policy.

17. Refunds

Eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Where required by UK consumer law, refunds will be issued without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after Shoesepic receives the returned product or acceptable evidence that the product has been returned.

For eligible full-order cancellations, the standard outbound delivery cost will also be refunded. Additional costs for enhanced or premium delivery above the standard delivery option do not have to be refunded.

Banks and payment providers may require additional time to display a completed refund.

18. Faulty, Damaged, or Misdescribed Products

Shoes must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality.

  • Fit for their normal purpose.

  • Consistent with their product description.

If shoes are faulty, damaged, misdescribed, or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements, customers should contact Shoesepic.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, customers may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction, or another appropriate remedy.

The voluntary 90-day return period does not replace or restrict statutory rights that may continue beyond 90 days.

19. Intellectual Property

The Shoesepic website and its contents—including text, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, layout, and design—are owned by Shoesepic, its licensors, or relevant rights holders.

Customers may view and use the website for personal shopping purposes. Website content must not be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, or commercially exploited without written permission from the relevant rights holder.

20. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may contain links to or integrations with payment providers, delivery carriers, social media platforms, or other third-party services.

These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Shoesepic is not responsible for the content or independent actions of third-party websites, except where responsibility arises under applicable law.

21. Website Availability

Shoesepic aims to keep the website available and functioning correctly. However, access may occasionally be interrupted for:

  • Maintenance or updates.

  • Security improvements.

  • Technical faults.

  • Hosting or internet service disruptions.

  • Circumstances outside Shoesepic’s reasonable control.

Shoesepic does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability but will take reasonable steps to restore access.

22. Limitation of Liability

Shoesepic does not exclude or restrict liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence.

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Breach of statutory consumer rights.

  • Faulty, unsafe, or misdescribed products where liability cannot be excluded.

  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Shoesepic is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business-related losses arising from products purchased for personal use, except where the law provides otherwise.

23. Customer Personal Information

Personal information is collected and processed in accordance with the Shoesepic Privacy Policy.

Shoesepic may use customer information to:

  • Process payments and orders.

  • Arrange delivery.

  • Manage returns and refunds.

  • Prevent fraud.

  • Provide customer support.

  • Meet applicable legal obligations.

24. Changes to These Terms

Shoesepic may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in the law, website functionality, business operations, payment services, or delivery arrangements.

Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised date. Changes will normally apply to future website use and orders placed after publication.

Orders already accepted will generally remain subject to the terms that applied when the contract was formed unless a change is required by law or agreed with the customer.

25. Severability

If any part of these Terms of Service is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.

26. No Waiver

If Shoesepic does not immediately enforce a provision of these terms, this does not mean that Shoesepic has waived its right to enforce that provision later.

27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Customers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland retain any mandatory legal rights available in their place of residence and may be entitled to bring proceedings in their local courts.

Shoesepic encourages customers to contact customer support first so that complaints or disputes can be reviewed and resolved fairly.
